Mothers Day
Mothers day is coming up soon. The second Sunday in May is the day dedicated to remembering, and recognizing the ladies who are our Moms. It seems to me that one day is not near enough to show these ladies that we appreciate all they have done, are doing, and will continue to do.
These ladies are the people who have known us nine months longer than anyone, and love us anyway. They are the ones we learn from, the ones we teach (Ask her what she learned from you, I dare you!!!), and the ones we can always count on for those things we need—even when we don’t want what we need.
Because I don’t think one day is enough, I want to take the next few days and post some things about Moms, and some things about my Mom, so please indulge my stray from the theme of this blog—unless you, like me believe that at the HEART of every man is a woman named MOM. If that be our common belief then we aren’t straying, we are talking about the very Heart of our existence.
