  • Happy Mothers Day!!!

It is early on the day we honor the ladies who gave us life. I mentioned before that I believe we should spend much more than one day honoring them, but, someone somewhere gave us this one day to let Mom know how much we really appreciate them.

The first thing that comes to mind is that we are fortunate God gave ladies that maternal instinct that Moms have, that special flame of love that can never be extinguished. I don’t believe that my Mom ever quit loving me, even when the things I did- she did not like.

Mom has always been at my side even when it seemed that no one else in the whole world thought I mattered. She was there when I faced crisis, self imposed crisis, and the times I was in a place that seemed a crisis when it really wasn’t.

Mom taught me all that I know, from tieing my shoes, to rhymes, to fishing, to dancing, to appreciation for love and life, to honesty, to my work ethic, to….the list goes on forever.

My Mom is still teaching me…we live a distance apart..but she remains the person I want most to be like. She taught me to face my fears. She is a cancer surviver and her battle has taught me to face and fight my congestive heart failure. Not only did she give me life, she helps me keep it. So Mom, when you read this —-I just want to say I LOVE YOU, MORE EACH DAY!

I want to tell you about my wife, she is my partner,my best friend, my forever love. She knows I appreciate her-because I tell her, and try to show her. With all that she is for me, she also takes time to be Mom for our kids. And, she does it all with that flame of love that will never be extinguished! So I want to tell my wife, I LOVE YOU, MORE EACH DAY!

    Thank you God, for Moms.
