    I wrote about the importance of daily weighing to check for fluid retention. I want to say that my daily weight check has now become a check for success. It seems to me the little downward changes, make a big difference in my attitude.

    Success breeds success—I used to hear that from older folks and didn’t really understand until I got to be an older folk. Not only does a weight loss become a motivator, so do other things, like when I smile at someone and they smile back to me, or when I hear a kind word of encouragement and it helps me to keep going and trying to do better.

    I know that negative is infectuous—so is positive—I want to be infgected with positive, do you? If we want to be infected with positive—we need to stick with the winners and positive influence in our life.

    So keep up the good work, we’re doing better than yesterday and that is building a foundation for a better tomorrow.

    What better day to start a new exercise, or try a new healthier food, or …………..
