    The rowing machine is one of the fastest fat burners in the gym. During this exercise the body is put under a regimen of movement like that of no other activity.

    All of the large muscles are moved. The arms, legs, gluts, and some muscles I did not even know I had, all moving in what is supposed to replicate the action taken by those skinny guys in long boats with uncomfortable-seats. I could not ever find a good use for those boats-first, they are not big enough to fish out of, second-they are too crowded to fish out of and third-they look like they are as unstable as a canoe.

    So, my advice is to do your rowing on dry land with the aid of a rowing machine.

    There are lots of other machines in the gym to use—all of them were difficult at first, now they are easier. In the beginning, I had to set some goals.

    It was very important to combine my exercise with a new way of eating. This was a lifestyle change and is ongoing, I still battle with eating habits, but it is never as hard to change habits with support.
