Second Childhood? or Cycling to be healthy?
These days I see more of us (Mature Citizens) on bicycles than I do the youngun’s. The youngsters of today are not as likely to be on a bike as they are on their Mom’s back for a ride to here or there.
I remember when I got my first bike (previous article), I did not know how imporetant learning the rules of the road for biking would be.
My doctor told me just a few days ago that the bicycle would be an excellent way for me to travel. I can’t do all of my travel on the bike, but just like days of old-the bike will be a way to run errands, travel the short distance to the post office, the grocery store and a few other select spots.
I probably won’t try mo old two wheel peddling tricks, like riding backwards, with no hands or taking my wife (girlfriend) for a ride on the handle bars, but non the less it is back to the bicycle for me.
I’m really impressed with a new computerized method that assists in losing weight. If you know anyone that might be interested, there’s lots of information www.conquerovereating.com.
