Memorial Day-To honor those who gave all.
What does it mean when we say “He’s got heart.”? I believe it means we are praising one for having the fortitude, the endurance, the tenacity, to get the job done. Lots of men and women of our armed services have heart.
I am talking of those members of the armed forces past and present. These people are willing to give all they have, will have, or even think of having to see that we have our rights, our privileges, and our ability to enjoy life for all of our days. How do we say thank you?
We say it each time we pray, we say it each time we see a person in uniform, or the members of a veterans organization. Two simple words that can make the day of a freedom fighter are Thank You.
Those two words are taken to heart by all who served. Those two words are medicine for the soul to those who were willing. Please say those words when you see a veteran, or an active member of any of our armed forces.
On memorial day, at the cemetery we will show our respects, but it is too late to say Thank You, at least for now.
