    Please try to get healthier. We like having you around.

    All of the activities we do can count as exercise-we burn calories every time we move. So when you are doing anything other than sitting on the couch with the channel changer -you are getting healthier. As long as you do the activity vigorously you can count it as vigorous exercise. The object of the game is to burn more than we take in.

    Next time you think of exercise, don’t think of the gym. There are activities to help you get things done around the house too! (Don’t take this personal unless you are one of our children.)

    Seriously count your time doing any activity as exercise and see it begin to be a double accomplishment. Daily activity after a severe diagnosis is exercise too. Just do not begin till the doctor say for you to. There can be as much damage from too much activity too soon as not enough soon enough.

    • Sweeping the walk
    • Gardening
