Rowing Machine One
The Lifecore 100 commercial rowing machine is the first one I have tried since the page “About Rowing Machines”
This rowing machine is a real professional type exercise machine—not one I could buy for home. The works were so smooth that I could hardly tell I was working out. Until I quit the workout and tried to get up.
This is a work out to move into….not try to do an hour all in the first fifteen minutes— if you know what I mean. This is , however; the complete body worklout I am looking for. This machine allows the user to put his (or Her) body in a position that is very close to the actual rowing position in a boat.
The mechanics are very smooth—so smooth that it is a great machine for the beginner or the veteran of the rowing machine circle. The monitor screen is in a place that is easy to access, the handles are comfortable to grip, the foot rests are comfortable, and I was at home on the machine after the first thirty seconds.
That means the machine is easy to use. I found this machine at a local wellness center—I went there to do my other job, and began a conversation with a trainer about the rowing machine as a work out. His advice—use the machine after checking with a doctor, don’t use this machine only, it may become dull and boring. Finally he said that rowing alone was not going to get my weight off.
His suggestion was to watch what I eat—I don’t think he meant to watch it from ther plate to my mouth —he said something about using more calories than I take in.
So my suggestion is to eat healthy, consult a doctor for the best and safest workout for your condition, and have a happy healthy heart day in the company of healthy heart folks! And please come back for more about the exercise equipment we use to recover from our various conditions.
